This is a chartered cruise exclusively for KNITopia participants. For that reason, everyone will be involved in some capacity, and as such, the price is the same for all guests. Thank you so much in advance for your understanding.

I really want to go, but I do not have a roommate yet. What should I put on the form?

You will need to select solo occupancy, as the form will not let you submit for the second person without their information. If you do not find a roommate, please note that you will be responsible for the whole solo occupancy cost displayed on the KNITopia 2027 Rhine River Cruise Booking Form. We maintain a list of solo travelers interested in sharing a room. Please notify us if you are interested, and we will provide you with the necessary information to connect with each other.

Is there a savings for solo passengers?

Rooms filled at single occupancy will receive a $TBD per stateroom savings.

Can I select my cabin?

How do I know if my registration has been confirmed?

You will receive a confirmation email from Dream Vacations with your reservation number, cabin assignment, invoice, and itinerary. We will make every effort to send your confirmation and reservation details as soon as possible. Please allow up to 5-10 business days from the time of submission.

How do I find out more information about the AmaMora?

How can I add LeisureCare insurance to my reservation?

LeisureCare Travel Protection will automatically be applied to your invoice at the time of booking. The cost varies depending on stateroom selection and the land packages chosen. This can be removed upon request; however, we recommend careful consideration before doing so. Do I need to purchase LeisureCare Luxury Travel Protection right away?

When can I book airfare?

Airfare will be available for purchase 330 days from the date of return. We will have further instructions at a later date.

I already have my own travel advisor. Can they book the cruise for me instead?

All bookings MUST be made through Mara or Corey Hargarther with Dream Vacations. This is a chartered sailing and is not available for sale to the general public.

What is included with the cruise fare quoted?

The prices quoted include all taxes and fees, gratuities, and beverage packages. The pre-and post-cruise land packages, along with LeisureCare Travel Protection, are available for an additional cost. Airport transfers are also not included and will be available for purchase at a later date.

Are excursions included in the price?

AmaWaterways includes an array of shore excursions at each port of call. Visit the Cruise Itinerary page here to view a sample of the offerings at each destination. These will open for booking approximately 60 days before sailing.

All guests must have a valid passport that is valid for at least six months from the date of return.

Do I need a visa?

The European Union will soon be implementing the European Travel Information and Authorization System for all travelers entering from visa-exempt countries. Additional information is forthcoming, and we will update you as we continue to learn more about the new requirements.

What foreign currencies do I need?

Germany, France, and the Netherlands use the Euro (€) as their official currency. Switzerland uses the Swiss Franc (CHF).

How much currency should I bring?

We recommend that you bring $250 - $300 USD worth of Euros (€). Any additional currency can be obtained via an ATM in the destination. Please note that American Express and Discover are not widely accepted in many European countries. Visa and Mastercard are the most common forms of payment.

Is the internet available onboard the AmaStella?

Internet usage is complimentary onboard the AmaStella.

Do I have cellular coverage onboard the ship and in Europe?
